Alexander’s Blood Bride
When Cat ends up at a Halloween party hosted by the mysteriously handsome and super rich Alexander Broderick, the last thing she expects is to become the object of his desire. Although she gets spooked and runs, she doesn’t yet understand the extent of his dangerous secret: Alexander, and a number of his guests, are vampires. And Cat’s blood is unlike anything they’ve smelled before…
Michael’s Soul Mate
Playboy Michael has never wanted to settle down. When he finds a severely injured woman lying in the street, his instincts insist he save her. He turns her into a vampire and takes her home, not realizing that this little random encounter is going to change his immortal life forever.
Marek the Soul Eater has escaped and it’s Lucille’s job as Enforcer to return him to the Council. She’s not a team player usually, but when she finds Vampire Hunter Valentino Conti also on Marek’s trail, she decides to join forces. The longer they work together, the more their connection grows. What if the truth comes out? What if Valentino realizes Lucille is the very thing he’s been hunting all his life?
Lorelei Moone is an up-and-coming author of paranormal romance based in London. A lover of all things sweet, and caffeinated, when she’s not writing about sexy bear shifters and their strong-willed curvaceous love interests. Lorelei can be found barking cookies or cakes for her family.
If you love vampires and romance, definitely check out this series. Moone’s Vampires of London follow three vampires with very different lives soon to be led, starting with Alexander, following into his best mate Michael’s exciting thriller, and ending with his sister’s sweet HEA.
I thought it was all pretty fun, a good fast-paced set of stories meant to keep things interesting and flowing. It’s one of the rarer reads for me because I haven’t come across many (if any) vampire books that talk about blood brides and soul eaters, so already this has its own little uniqueness for me that’ll definitely be hard to forget. Of the three, I’d have to say Lucille’s story was my favorite. Yes, Alex was a pretty cool cat (ha) and Cat’s introduction to the vampire life was great for us readers, but I’m a total sucker for star-crossed lovers, and of the three complications they all faced, I’d say Lucille’s Nightwalker life and the hunter who made a living of ending said things was the best one. Valentino was an interesting character, not my favorite (Michael!) but a fun POV to be in when he was on the hunt with Lucille. Having him see her in a different light from how she was portrayed in the first book was my favorite part, I think, because for me, she went from another vampire to be weary of to a beautiful young huntress in her own right, with her own feelings and struggles.
It’s a good set I think you’d enjoy because the story doesn’t end, so you really get the full front of the vampires in London, and the ending makes it all the more sweet. It’s a definite recommend from me.
