Dale Mayer- 3;b Stone's Surrender

Life is on the move again…

After a long slow-ass recovery, Stone finds himself triumphantly back at work at Levi’s new company. The action comes fast and furious on his first run out as they rescue a senator’s daughter who’s been kidnapped in the Middle East.

Lissa will do almost anything to thwart her father’s plans for her. Getting kidnapped wasn’t on her list. And once she meets Stone no other man matters. She falls, and she falls hard. But even on home soil, there’s no respite as she finds the nightmare has followed her home… and she’s caught in the middle of it.

It’s a battle that requires both of them to not only clear her name but to keep her safe… especially when a twist is thrown at them that they didn’t see coming…

Dear Reader,

Looooove this! It’s so funny with little cheesy lines but seriously scary with all the different chaos in places I can’t give away without spoilers but DAMN… they sure sexed it up quick lol.

Stone is such a wannabe hard-ass and he’s got the muscles to back it up, but as soon as Lissa spends a little time with him, she realizes that he’s really just a teddy bear. She’s lead a hard life despite being privileged, but her backbone’s something Stone immediately respects. The physical attraction and the whole hype and intensity of the rescue mission results with her seeking comfort and him being more than happy to provide it. There’s just one problem… she may not be a victim after all.

I really enjoyed this one because it’s Stone and he’s just a total sweetheart. Cheesiness comes and goes with me and though my nose wrinkled a bit I still thought it was adorable because it was coming from him, this intimidating ex-military man who’s lost a leg and did more than survive. The action and suspense was good. Probably helped that I was reading this at night because it only made things creepier for me. Overall a really good book I recommend, and if you love military romance, what are you waiting for??

Happy Reading,

A Little Darling
