I really enjoyed this one! There was a lot of play on domination and submission, mental and physical wise, and both kept me involved in this story. I’d say both Mia and Gabriel are complex people, him having found his inner Dom and Mia slowly finding her submissive streak under all her strong, independent self. I thought it was interesting to see such a cynical hard head struggle with knowing the difference between the stereotypical sub/slave and learning to trust. At times I thought I’d go insane with her constant back and forth, but even Gabriel had a lot to learn about that word. The whole thing was just awesome.
The sex was great, the lead up even better. I liked the writing style and how it flowed well in my head. Despite the sexy times and the erotica genre, I thought it was a really good romance story between two people. The ending does end on a cliffhanger, so beware. I didn’t feel very satisfied when it did end that way because it left me hanging there. After all that progress, it stops right there? I’d say it reminded me of another hot read but I wouldn’t want anyone to get weird and think more into it lol so I’ll just say that despite the ending, I still thought everything was really good and that’s why it’s a recommend for me. If you wanna wait for the second book, cause I sometimes do that too, I say go for it, but mark it on your TBR! Definitely a book you don’t wanna miss out on.
