Only a Viscount Will Do, Tamara Gill

Only a Viscount Will Do Cover

Lady Alice Worthingham never conforms to Society’s norms. Ever.

She loves adventure, new experiences, and approaches life with a sassy attitude Society can take or leave. But even for her, robbery by a highwayman is a bit much.

Lord Arndel, Lady Alice’s neighbor, is playing a dangerous game — acting the proper viscount by day and the Surrey Bandit by night. And to brazenly steal from the woman who’s captured his attention is no mean feat, or the wisest of moves.

When Lady Alice learns the truth, the viscount finds that when a well-bred woman seeks revenge, she’ll make a gentleman thief pay for his crimes with everything… including his heart.

Dear Reader,

This is the first time I’ve read anything of Gill’s, and I must say, it wasn’t bad. I really got into the regency era and dialogue dancing. It took a bit of effort to get through in the beginning when the build up was leading to the main plot expressed in the blurb, but dude. So. Good.

Lord Arndel was a total cool cat, a hot highwayman bandit who lives a double life trying to be the proper yet guilt-weighed neighbor. I liked the vibes he gave off and how sweet and innocent he seemed when he acted on his attraction to Lady Alice. Lady Alice was indeed a different woman, someone you’d say was born in the wrong era. Their relationship was fun to watch because of all the drama and how they had to stay prim with each other. The words like ‘ass’ did personally take me out of the reading experience because that’s not how I’ve seen Regency depicted, you know? But still, I overall enjoyed myself.

The issues were great, the characters were cool, and the writing had a nice style. It’s a recommend for those who love regency romances.

Happy Reading,

A Little Darling

The reigning queen of London society, Lady Elizabeth Worthingham, has her future set out for her. Marry well, and marry without love. An easy promise to make and one she owed her family after her near ruinous past that threatened them all. And the rakish scoundrel Henry Andrews, Earl of Muir whose inability to act a gentleman when she needed one most would one day pay for his treachery.

Returning to England after three years abroad, Henry is determined to make the only woman who captured his heart his wife. But the icy reception he receives from Elizabeth is colder than his home in the Scottish highlands. As past hurts surface and deception runs as thick as blood, so too does a love that will overcome all obstacles, unless a nameless foe, determined with his own path, gets his way and their love never sees the light of day…
