Not all habits can be broken…

The ending totally killed me. I seriously enjoyed seeing Cam and Thea work out their relationship situation but right off the bat, drama already begins and it was an overall wild ride. I loved the writing style, loved the pacing (the end plot’s pacing seemed a little fast) and who doesn’t enjoy a good struggle with the love?
Thea has a lot of stuff to deal with, as does Cam. I fell in love when Ellis brought to life a world where the angels are ranked and not all they’re cracked up to be. At times I couldn’t tell if they were worse or easier off than humans. I love learning about what the angel realm can bring to the table and seeing their structure a little more clearly made things more interesting, mainly because they force a lot of their laws and expectations on Thea and Cam. This was definitely darker, and I loved it all the more for it. It’s hot, it’s exciting… and heartbreaking. If you love angels or urban fantasy, definitely check this out because not many angels get their choirs laid out like it’s a heavenly system. Thea is a funny one, and learning and changing as things progress, and Cam is one grumpy little Power angel that seriously makes you forget why you were ever annoyed with him. Ugh, the feels with these two.
