I’m not so different from most people.
Like everyone else, I have life goals.
Become a real girl instead of this invisible ghost thing I currently am.
Convince the four men I’ve been haunting for the past five years to pick me to be their new toy after goal one is complete.
Figure out who/what I am and why I can’t remember anything past the five years I’ve been haunting this quad.
See? Perfectly normal. Sort of.
Gotta start small, after all.
It’s not like anyone else is perfect, either.
Sexual situations. Reverse Harem. Dark humor galore. Strong language.

If you love dark romance and reverse harem PLEASE GET THIS. I’m seriously tripping balls right now with how fucked up this book’s got me in the best of ways. Like I just can’t. Right. Now.
Do I care that the guys were jerks? I probably should, but I don’t. I really don’t. If anything, if fed me more drama and hot YES PLS DADDY ANTICIPATE THIS DI- *coughs* (I seriously need to hide my devices when I finish books like this). There are just too many feels right now to coherently write this sorry excuse of a review. Cause I’m still in fangirl mode and I just- I can’t right now.
I honestly can’t.
Our MC’s an unnoticed ghost stuck to four hot, mysterious guys who seem to only have sex when they’re together with their catch of the night. She’s been a witness to their debauchery life for five years now but when one of them is in danger, everything she’s wished for comes true. They can see her. They can hear her. They… want nothing to do with her? Well, fuck!
I totally died when they treated her like a threat, okay? DIED. And it’s worse because they’re not wrong! She may have known them for five years and already feels like part of the gang, but they just met the protective bitch. And considering all the shit they’re having to deal with, the last thing they can actually do is trust this “convenient person who shows up at the right time”, you know?!? They’ve only ever trusted each other, all these lonely and mysterious years. Everyone’s trying to kill them and with the trials in hell creeping up, they simply do not have the time to fuck around. And that makes them so much hotter.
And they’re dark guys. Not gentlemen (unless they’re seducing their latest potluck), not neighborly (unless the show they’ve been unintentionally providing counts as such), and they definitely aren’t the guys you’d bring home to meet your mama. A part of me feels bad for feeding into the bad boy lovefest but shit, man. I can’t help it. They are literally to die for, and the way she handles them with her cute and honest answers only to get totally angry and sassy when they treat her mean is just-
It was just perfect. She was 100% her authentic self and when they knocked down her sincerity or continued to treat her like shit (I mean come on now, I’d believe that over them fawning all over her just because she pops up, and they work for Hell) she’d totally feed my emotional side and cry and disappear somewhere quiet where I could cry with her, but then she’d be like fed up with the shit and tell them off. Set them straight. Crack that wh-i-puh and totally entertain me the rest of the way until another emotional scene. Got literally sucked in that way: sexual allure, laughter, tears, relatable feels, promise of yummy hot sex, teased- OUCH -rejcted! And when you get to serve that solid burn right back, it’s just simple euphoria.
I think the teasing promise of sex makes it amazingly great. Like, yeah it says reverse harem, but I wouldn’t treat it like a romance unless you’re like me, someone who enjoys that emotional torture of the guy(s) just not getting it. There’s four books in this series so it isn’t like they’ll never get to all the sappy shit, you know? Right now this fantasy read was all about the dark desires finally getting real with a whole bunch of other dangerous shit I can’t tell you. So your possible complaints about it not being a romance?
This works for a lot of reasons. Without spoiling all the great parts, I’ll say this works because there’s four hot mysterious guys who are major badasses that wouldn’t know what it meant to be whipped if they were public bottoms at a traveling BDSM circus. Add in the gullible ghost girl who doesn’t know anything about herself or her role in their lives (she can’t leave them) and you’ve got a spunky girl who wants to fuck them before she moves on to find her one true love, a quad of frustrated killers who don’t know what to do with someone like her… and did I mention the amazingly fucking awesome thing with hell?
Yeah. Read it. Now. I can’t tell you any more without ruining it but if you go in blind the way I did (well actually I kinda spoiled a few shit, sorry) you’re totally gonna be a little confused at first (hence my docking off rating points) but once the basic foundation is set, it’s one insane ride of outright laughter, dark desires and constant teases that’ll be balanced out with awesome action and stressful scenes.
Any book that makes me cuss like a sailor is a book worth fucking checking out, okay?
And I, like, need the second installment now.
Like right now.
Make it happen, woman!
