Accacia’s Curse, Bea Paige

Accacia

Born with a rare blood disorder that means she cannot go out in daylight, Accacia has learned to live in the dark, even if it has been incredibly lonely.

Determined to find a cure that will finally allow her to walk in the sun, Accacia has spent her days and nights holed up in her laboratory doing just that.

After a freak encounter with a tall, dark and ridiculously handsome stranger, Accacia might just have found her cure, but not in the way she expected.

Drawn into a parallel world of paranormal creatures and a Queen who wants her dead, Accacia has to put her trust in three vampires who, seemingly, want to devour her in more ways than one.

Dear Reader,

I’m really digging the plan for this series because it’s five ‘sisters’ with their own reverse harems to love and drool over. Like whaaat? What RH fan wouldn’t sign up for that??? And the premise was pretty good. It got me interested in Accacia and what she’ll have to go through. The guys were interesting, a little rough around the edges but still pretty cool.

There’s only one thing that didn’t sit well with me and it was the roller coaster of emotions I had to endure with Accacia. I think what went wrong for me personally was that I never really got a sense of how closed off she was, so when she reacted the way she did with the guys (whom she’s totally attracted to) and constantly held them off or yelled at them, it put a weird taste in my mouth. I won’t spoil anything, so I’ll just say that while I didn’t like some moments, I kept getting intrigued by yet another reveal of the world. It’s a recommend for those who love RH and enjoy fantasy/paranormal worlds.

Would I read the next installment? Yes. I understand that I’m learning about Accacia with every book that comes out and she’s one of the modern women who wouldn’t happily jump at a fantasy come to life. Totally get it lol. I look forward to seeing how she’s going to become the first sister to stick it to the queen who puts the whore in horrifying.

Happy Reading,

A Little Darling
