Pitcher, Kristy Marie

No one needs that many hookups!

Not even soon-to-be major league pitcher, Theo Von Bremen.

So, I help him by routinely thinning out his contact list — because I’m the best roommate ever. And he’s optimal baby daddy material.

For me — not Amanda 1, 2, or 3.

But since the man can’t take a hint; I’ll continue to spray his sheets with my perfume and accidentally leave my panties in his laundry.

That has to be enough to break a man eventually.
Right?

Not Without You, AP Watson

not without you cover

I have one rule in life — never fall in love.

Sure, I loved my father and my best friend, but being in love with someone? Out of the question… It just wasn’t worth the risk. I saw the agony my father went through as my mother’s coffin was lowered into the ground, and he has never fully recovered from the depths of those sorrows. I won’t put myself through the same misery. I can’t.

Instead, I lose myself in my art.

As a painter, I push my emotions into the colors I paint with. I usually put my entire being into every single painting, driving my fingers past the breaking point, but lately, my creative well has run dry. For over a year, my mind has taken a creative sabbatical, locking me out of my own reprieve. But everything changed when I met him. One glance into those bright blue eyes had my hands twitching with the desire to paint again.

If I thought remaining friends with my new muse was going to be easy, I was in for one hell of a letdown, because I was falling for him — fast. Handsome as hell, funny, and kind, he was everything I didn’t need, couldn’t have. I needed to remember my philosophy — live a happy, fulfilling life without falling in love. But deep down, I’m beginning to realize such a fate isn’t possible…

Not without you.

Bianca

Pretty things don’t distract me.

In my line of work, a distraction will get you caught. Or in my case, blackmailed. But this isn’t the only time I’ve been hustled, and soon Connor Hayes will learn that men are only pawns in my end game.

I don’t love.
I hate.

Even a pretty boy like him.

Hayes

Two wrongs don’t make a right.

Except when they are five-foot-seven and hotter than my exhaust pipe. So, I blackmailed her. It was either that or turn her in. And if anyone was going to put her in handcuffs, it was going to be me. Bianca Morgan stole the only woman I’ve ever loved.

It’s only fair she replace her.

Burning Violet, AP Watson

Not all scars are visible. But even the invisible ones can cut deep enough to permanently mar your soul.

I would know.

My soul has been broken for over half of my life. The ones who should’ve loved me pushed me away. And others who pretended to care for me just caused more damage.

To my family, I was a constant reminder that ripped us apart. To most, I was nothing more than a pretty face. I begun to doubt redemption and respect would ever be possible… until I met him.

He was everything I needed and everything I couldn’t allow myself to want.

But if I couldn’t outrun my past, maybe he could burn it all away.

Wicked Needs, LA Cotton

It’s a fine line between love and hate.

Bitch… Ice Queen… Frigid.

Macey Prince is no stranger to a nickname or two. The words once hurt, now they’re her armor. Being a Prince might be a life sentence she can never escape, but Macey isn’t willing for her to be collateral again.

Then in a rare moment of weakness, Macey lets someone in. Without realizing, she gives a piece of herself to him and it’s not long until he wants more.

To uncover the girl behind cruel words and icy stares.

She should hate him.
She does hate him.
Anything less would be a disaster waiting to happen.

But sometimes the thing we hate is the thing we need most.

Breck
My name is Brecklyn Brannon, and I’m not who I claim to be.

A year ago, I packed up my promising life in the city for a man I saw only once.

Accepting a temporary job with Cade and four blazing hot veterans should have been my way in.

Except, Cade acts like he would rather be tortured than speak to me.

He can resist all he wants, but I made a promise that I intend to keep.

Even if it costs me everything.

Cade
I’ve watched her for over a year.

There’s something about her that seems familiar… but now that she’s living here for two weeks, I could care less what it is.

I just want her gone.

Breck is temptation personified, and some lines can’t be crossed.

I’m Major Cade Jameson, and I made a promise, too.

One that I can’t break.

No matter how hard it gets.

Through every drop of blood I spilled, I lost a piece of my soul. I’ve sacrificed seven long years and the woman of my life for the Family. With prison behind me, I’m finally taking the reins of my destiny. I won’t allow the choices of my past to define my future. But I’m not done fighting — not yet.

Eve

After having my heart torn out by the son of the biggest crime family in New York, I was forced to start over in California. With three thousand miles between me and my past, life is finally set on cruise control. I’m a lawyer at one of the best law firms in the country, I own my apartment, and I even have a doting boyfriend by my side.

As for love?

It’s not worth the fight.

Always composed.

Scoring the Player’s Baby, Naima Simone

After a divorce from her cheating football player ex, PR whiz Kim Matlock would rather drive a pine tree through her walled-off heart than work at the Seattle Wedding Expo.

And the last thing she expects is to be grabbed and kissed breathless by a hot giant of a man looking to fend off a stalker. She doesn’t want emotional entanglements, but she can’t say no to one scorching night with the sexy stranger.

To her shock, she finds out afterward that a) he’s a pro football player, aka her kryptonite, and b) she’s pregnant.
