The mission was supposed to be simple:
Get in.
Save the girl.
Get the hell out.

But Warren Parish knows nothing is simple with demons involved, and storming the gates of Hell will be no exception.

An innocent woman is trapped in Nulterra, but this journey is so much more than a rescue mission.

Along with his new enchanted sword capable of killing angels, it seems the demons have forged another powerful object…

The Soul Destroyer, Elicia Hyder

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Warren Parish is literally about to go to hell and back to protect his daughter, but first he must save her from an even closer danger — Heaven.

The Council of angels has decreed Iliana must be brought to Eden to be made a seraph — an angel frozen as a child. And though it means Warren can finally be with her, she will never grow up.

She will never access her power. And she will never have the life he sacrificed everything to give her.

Time is running out. He has until her first birthday to bring her to Eden. If not, the guardians will be sent for her, and he will be stripped of his birthright as the Archangel and lose his daughter forever.

Delivering Evil for Experts, Annette Marie

I promised to avenge my parents.

But their killer is still on the loose, and he’s stolen more than my parents’ lives. Now, as he draws closer to his mysterious goals, he’s poised to destroy what little I have left.

I promised to translate an ancient grimoire.

But it holds the secrets of my family — and the secret history of demon summoning. I fear its answers as much as I need them. Who was the foremother of Demonica… and who am I?

I promised to send my demon home.

But the way he watches me, the way he protects me, the way he touches me — how can I cast him away forever? I swore I would do this for him, but can I? Should I?

But I promised — and I will keep my promises even if they cost me my heart, my soul, and my life.

Damned Souls and a Sangria, Annette Marie

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Once upon a time, I was your average spunky redhead with the lamest employment history ever, a shaky relationship with my only family member, and no idea what I was doing with my life.

Now, I’m a pseudo mythic with the best bartending job in the world, the most amazing (and hot) best friends I never knew I needed, and a guild of misfit magic-users who’ve become my extended family.

And I’m about to lose it all.

In my desperation to save Ezra, I stumbled into a web of ruthless deception — and seriously pissed off a sleeping hydra. Now its every murderous head is turned toward me and my guild, and I don’t know how to stop it. I’m not sure I can.

I’m not sure anyone can.

But if we don’t, we’re all doomed — Ezra, Aaron, Kai, and my beloved guild.

Poisoned Shadow, Candice Bundy

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Just when I was getting a handle on my magic, my fae family drama, and an unwanted fiance, someone wants me dead. Again.

Returning home is never easy, especially when you’ve lived apart from your family for eight long years and your face reminds them of your well-loved twin whose murder still haunts these halls. How can I, Becka Rowan, live up to her memory?

I’d only been back home a few weeks when tragedy struck again in the form of a poisoner. I almost died. My father lies in a coma, his fate uncertain.

It’s bad enough that I’m always being measured up to my beloved twin; how can I ever hope to feel safe and welcome at House Rowan with Shadow Dwellers and poisoners out to get me?

The assassination attempt brings Enforcer Quinn back to House Rowan. I’m excited to be working side by side with Quinn again, solving the case together. His return gives me the opportunity to find out if the connection between us is real.

I hope he feels the same draw to me as I do to him.
But Quinn’s holding back; keeping things professional between us.

Can I blame him? I’m still engaged to my dead twin’s fiance! I need to control my magic, end my engagement, and then find a path forward with Quinn. Is that too much to ask?

Assuming Quinn and I can solve the poisoning before they strike again.

WARNING: MILD SPOILERS.
I stayed away from the big ones but I had to talk about some stuff.

Twinned Shadow, Candice Bundy

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

A foothold in two different worlds, and no safety in either…

I, Becka Rowan, live in a time of uneasy peace. A fragile truce stands between humans, shifters, and the fae-touched — those who turn inward to their Houses for loyalty and protection and live in isolation from the outside world.

For an ungifted like me, that’s impossible to do.

Born of the fae but not blessed with their powers, I’ve grown up as an outcast within the human world. Humans don’t trust people like me with fae heritage, and the fae don’t bother with the ungifted. I said screw it and embraced college, determined to make my own fate.

Just when I thought I could start a prestigious internship and continue my quest to address interspecies conflict, someone murdered my twin sister, an adept illusionist and heir to our family lineage.

So, I’m going back home to say goodbye. Back to House Rowan. I take a deep breath, knowing after a short few days I’ll return to the city, free again from the melodrama of the House I was raised in.

There’s just one hitch in my plan — Quinn, a fae-touched member of the Enforcer’s Guild assigned to investigate the killing. Quinn doesn’t let the typical fae prejudices against the ungifted prevent him from staying close to me. Uncomfortably close. Besides, he needs my help to figure out what happened to my sister.

How can I refuse?

Bound to the Death God, Melody Rose

mel

Hi, Amie here. And let me just say that, as the world’s most up and coming paranormal investigator, I never expected to get to hang out with a self-proclaimed “god of death.”

Sure, I had to sign the paranormal equivalent of a contract and everything to get down to the Underworld, but it was worth it.

Why?
Because not only will I be able to figure out who killed my sister, but, maybe, possibly, unlimited power too?

I mean, after all, most of the world’s greatest teachers are dead, am I right?
There’s just one little niggle.

I think this death god might want more than an interview. And if that’s the case… I’m not sure I can say no.

Lost Talismans and a Tequila, Annette Marie

lost

You know that squirmy sensation in your gut when you have no idea what you’re doing and you’re about to screw everything up?

Yeah, that feeling.

I thought I was a good judge of character, but recent events proved me very wrong. Now, in a brilliant demonstration of my newfound caution, I’m putting all my faith in a demon — a demon who’s tried to kill me before. The squirmy feeling is making sense, right?

Unfortunately, I don’t have any other options.

Ezra’s time is almost up, which means I need answers and I need them fast. So it’s time to toughen up, pack my gear, and find me one of the most illegal, reviled, and scarce mythics out there: a demon-mage summoner.

And all I have to do is follow a demon’s instructions on where to look. How could that go wrong?
